Born on 14th November 1988 in DR Congo (formerly Zaire), Jeremy Bokila, 37, is a football forward currently playing for Livingston as their number 18. Standing tall at 1.87m (6ft 1in) and weighing 78kg (12st 3lb), his present market value hovers around €50k, or falteringly close to £43k as per the latest figures from Transfermarkt.
Bokila started his professional career at AGOVV Apeldoorn, Netherlands, where he donned the jersey from the 2007 to 2010 season. Scoring 31 goals in his 95 appearances, Bokila's prowess was evident right from the outset.
In 2010, the striker moved to Zulte Waregem in the Pro League, Belgium, albeit with less success, scoring only 2 goals in 20 appearances. Shortly thereafter, he was loaned out to Sparta Rotterdam in the 2011-2012 season, where he found the back of the net 14 times in 28 appearances.
He spent the 2012-2013 season on loan at Petrolul Ploieşti, Romania, before securing a transfer to Akhmat Grozny, Russia for a fee close to £1.3m in 2013. A modest contribution of 4 goals in 36 appearances marked his tenure at Akhmat Grozny, post which he shifted base to Guangzhou City, China for another £1.3m.
Bokila's stint in China, albeit short, was fairly productive as he managed to bag 4 goals in 13 appearances. His subsequent moves to Eskişehirspor, Turkey (2015-2016 season), and Al-Kharaitiyat, Qatar (2016-2017 season) were on loan from Guangzhou City.
A permanent move to Akhisar Belediyespor, Turkey materialised in January 2017. However, a loan spell at CFR Cluj, Romania interspersed his tenure at Akhisar Belediyespor, wherein he returned to the Turkish side after completion of his loan term in 2018.
After his Turkey stint, Bokila continued his football journey in countries like Belgium (Thes Sport) and USA (Oakland Roots) before landing in the Netherlands with Willem II (2022-2025).
His most recent move was to Livingston in the 2025-2026 Scottish Premiership season, where he's registered an impressive five goals in just 17 appearances. He was also called upon as a substitute during the League Cup of the ongoing season.
