Jonjoe Kenny was born in Kirkdale, Liverpool on 15 March 1997 (age 29), and came through at Everton as an English right-back. Celtic entered his story in February 2021, when he joined from Everton during a period when the club were doing rather too much short-term patching.
His time at Celtic was brief, but it gave him a run in Scottish football before his career moved on again. He later had his most productive league season at Hertha BSC in 2023-24, scoring three goals in 29 appearances.
Kenny is now with PAOK, wearing number 16. In 2026-27 he has made 15 appearances across all competitions, including league, Super League, Europa League qualifying, Conference League qualifying and Europa League matches. His market value is around ยฃ2m, according to Transfermarkt.
His career has taken him from Everton to Celtic, then on to Germany and Greece, with his main role remaining a steady right-back rather than anything more elaborate.
