Jordan Smith, a child of England's soil, was brought forth on the 8th day of December in the year of our Lord, 1994. With the steadfast position of a goalkeeper for the Scottish Premiership's Hibernian, he now graces the pitch in the number 13 jersey. His stature looms at an imposing 6ft (1.85m) tall and tips the scales at a solid 11st 9lb (74kg).
In the dawn of his career, the youthful Smith took to the emerald expanse as a trainee for Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League in the prime of the summer of 2013. His debut season in the 2016-2017 term found him emerging from the shadows of training to take the posts for 15 matches of utmost importance. This impressive display continued into the 2017-2018 season, where he was entrusted with the net on 29 occasions. Nonetheless, in the following seasons, his first-team appearances dwindled, with only three instances in the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons combined.
The year 2018 saw him transported on the brisk winds of November to Barnsley in England's League One, a loan spell that ended with a return to Nottingham Forest in the same month. Following this, the lad embarked on another loan spell, in January of 2019. This time, his talents were lent to Mansfield Town, also participating in England's League One. This loan stint ceased come June, seeing Smith once more return to the familiar haunts of the Nottingham Forest grounds.
It appeared the year 2023 held a new adventure for Smith. January saw him loaned to Huddersfield Town, still in League One, before striking out on his own in July of the same year, transferring to Stockport County of the same division. Life evidently had a course set north for the chap, with July 2024 witnessing Smith's migration to Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership. Currently delighting in the 2024-2025 season, he has been launched to the forefront twice in league matches, with one start in the League Cup giving him another feather for his cap.
