Born on the 6th of May in the year 2000, Josh Campbell, a native of Scotland, is a proficient midfield maestro primarily deployed as a central midfielder for Hibernian Football Club. He stands 5ft 11in tall (1.82m) and weighs just shy of 11 stone 9 lbs (74 kg), sporting the number 32 on the back of his shirt.
He took his first steps into professional football with Hibernian in July 2016, where he was enrolled as a trainee. Since the 2021 - 2022 season, Campbell has been a prominent figure in Hibernian's first team, making 26 appearances and netting one goal that season. He continued to display stellar performances in the following seasons, making 36 appearances with 8 goals in the 2022 - 2023 season, 19 appearances with 3 goals in the 2023 - 2024 season, 33 appearances with 4 goals in the 2024 - 2025 season, and in the current 2025 - 2026 season, he has already marked 15 appearances with a goal to his name.
Campbell's journey wasn't without its detours. In January 2019, he transferred on loan to Airdrieonians in the Championship from Hibernian. By June that year, his loan spell had ended, and he found his way back to Hibernian.
In August 2019, Campbell once again ventured from Hibernian, this time on loan to Arbroath in the Championship. By January 2020, he was back in the arms of his parent club, Hibernian.
The 2020 - 2021 season saw Campbell with a new setting again, as he spent time on loan at Edinburgh City in League Two, before wrapping up his loan spell and returning to Hibernian in June 2021.
Apart from the league, Campbell has also represented Hibernian in the League Cup 2025 - 2026 with one start, the Europa League Qualifiers 2025 - 2026 with two appearances as substitutes, and the Conference League Qualifiers 2025 - 2026 with two starts and one appearance as a substitute.
