Josh Nisbet, born on 15 June 1999 (age 27), is an Australian centre midfielder now with Roda JC. At a diminutive 5ft 3in (1.60m), he has built a senior career around mobility and persistence rather than physical presence, which is probably just as well.
His career is shaped chiefly by Central Coast Mariners, where he spent six seasons and made 116 league appearances, scoring five league goals. That spell gave him the volume of football that most defines him: steady involvement, a clear role, and a long enough run to become more than a passing name in the A-League.
Nisbet moved on to Ross County for the 2024-25 season and produced his most productive league campaign, scoring three times in 36 appearances. It was a useful Scottish stop rather than the main chapter, but it showed he could carry his game outside Australia.
