Josha Vagnoman, born 11 December 2000, is a 25-year-old German defender who primarily plays as a right back for Stuttgart. Standing 6ft 1in tall (1.86m) and battling the scales at 11st 13lb (76kg), Vagnoman wears the number 4 jersey for his club.
As noted by Transfermarkt, his current market value revolves around the £8.5m mark. Vagnoman stepped foot in the professional field of football when he joined Hamburg as a trainee in Bundesliga, Germany's premier football league in July 2015.
His maiden appearance in the Bundesliga came in the 2017 - 2018 season, where he managed a single showing. His presence in the senior side gradually increased with Vagnoman featuring 11 times the following season and notched up his first goal in the 2019 - 2020 season, a campaign in which he took to the field 16 times.
Season 2020 - 2021 witnessed Vagnoman finding the back of the net twice, having made 24 appearances. He added to his goal tally the following season as well, again scoring twice, while his appearances diminished to 12. Vagnoman's time at Hamburg then drew to a close in July 2022, when Stuttgart prised him away on a deal worth £2.8m.
Vagnoman quickly made his mark at Stuttgart, netting twice in 23 league matches in his debut season. Although his second term at Stuttgart saw a reduction in appearances to 18, his goal tally remained consistent at two. The 2024 - 2025 season witnessed Vagnoman enjoying the most playing time so far at Stuttgart, featuring in 26 league matches and scoring once.
At the time of writing, in the ongoing 2025 - 2026 season, Vagnoman has already made 20 appearances and has a single goal to his name. However, his role has not been limited to domestic football only; the right back has represented Stuttgart in the DFL-Supercup and the Europa League in the current season. He turned out once in the Supercup, while in the Europa League, Vagnoman boasts an impressive one goal from two starts, aside from five appearances as a substitute.
