Karim Adeyemi was born on 18 January 2002 (age 24) and is a German right winger now with Barcelona. Before the bigger billing, his development was helped by senior football on loan at FC Liefering, a useful staging post rather than a glamour stop. That mattered: minutes at that age usually do more than another year of being admired from a distance.
His most productive league season came at Red Bull Salzburg in 2021-2022, when he scored 19 goals in 29 appearances. That was the spell that gave proper substance to the promise, with Adeyemi moving beyond potential and into the category of a forward who could hurt teams regularly.
At Barcelona in 2025-2026, he has made nine appearances and scored three goals, all in the Champions League. His current market value is around £24m, according to Transfermarkt.
Adeyemi’s career so far has run from early loan development, through a strong scoring spell in Austria, to Barcelona. He remains an established professional with his best years still ahead of him.
