Karim Adeyemi, born on 18 January 2002 (age 24), is a German right winger now with Barcelona, where he wears squad number 14. He is valued at around £24m by Transfermarkt.
His early senior development came through the Red Bull route, with a loan spell at Liefering helping bridge the gap between youth promise and first-team football. That pathway is not subtle, but it tends to give quick players plenty of minutes and plenty of space to learn on the job.
Adeyemi’s main Salzburg breakthrough came in 2021-22, when he scored 19 league goals in 29 appearances.
