Keanu Baccus graced this world with his physical presence on the 7th of June in the late nineteen hundreds, specifically 1998. A native of South Africa, he chose the life of a middling player, turning up to work at the heart of the park for the St Mirren club in Scotland's Premiership. Baccus isn't a towering fellow, standing only 5 feet 9 inches tall (or 1.76m, if you're so inclined), and he cuts a figure of a mere 10 stone 7 pounds (or a slightly more impressive 67 kilograms).
He is seen prancing about the pitch in the number 25 jumper, an odd figure surely, but one he wears with pride. In addition to his club duties, Baccus has had the honour of representing his adopted home, Australia, on the national team.
Even in the world of football, where players are thrown around like gold coins in a pirate's chest, Baccus holds a rather humble estimated market value of £600k, as per the fine statistical analysis by the good folks over at Transfermarkt.
Baccus' journey to the rank of professional footballer commenced in 2014 with Western Sydney Wanderers in the A-League. In his first season of 2016 - 2017, Baccus managed only three vinous drink breaks, otherwise known as first team appearances. His contribution, though modest, gradually showed a mild upward curve over the years, peaking at 25 appearances in the 2020 -2021 season. Following several fruitful seasons, the pendulum of Baccus’ footballing career swung to Scotland, prompting a transfer to St Mirren in the Premiership in 2022.
With St Mirren, he strung together 33 top-tier performances, with two trips to the back of the onion bag during the 2022 - 2023 season, a tally only slightly altered in the 2023 - 2024 period with 31 appearances and a single goal tally. After a slight misstep with a transfer to Mansfield Town in England's League One in 2024, Baccus made his return to St Mirren a year later, in 2025, for a fee shrouded in mystery.
Currently, within the confines of the 2025 - 2026 season, Baccus’ boots have kissed the hallowed turf of St Mirren's pitch ten times already. Besides his league affairs, Baccus has started thrice in the League Cup for St Mirren, demonstrating his growing influence in the team.
