Leroy Sané, born on 11 January 1996 (age 30), is a Germany international winger now with Galatasaray. Primarily used on the right, he wears the number 10 shirt and carries a current market value of around £38.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
His most productive league season came at Bayern Munich in 2024-2025, when he scored 11 goals in 30 appearances. That was the clearest return from a player whose game has usually rested on pace, direct running and the ability to stretch a defence rather than neat predictability.
Sané is now at Galatasaray, where his 2026-2027 season has brought 10 appearances across all competitions: seven in the Süper Lig, two in the Süper Kupa and one in the Champions League. He has also remained involved with Germany, scoring once in four World Cup appearances and twice in two European qualifying appearances this season.
His career, from Bayern Munich prominence to a current spell in Istanbul, is still that of an established international winger operating at a high level. The output at Galatasaray is still taking shape, but his club and country record keeps him firmly in the first-team conversation.
