Liam Polworth, a native of Scotland born on 12 October 1994, is an experienced midfielder known for his central role within Kilmarnock FC. At an imposing height of 5ft 11in (1.81m) and an athletic weight of 11st 4lb (72kg), he brings a significant physical presence to the football pitch. Donning the number 31 jersey, Polworth is recognised as a key asset to the team.
Polworth began his professional footballing career in July 2010 when he joined Inverness CT, a team in Scotland's League One. His debut season (2010-2011) saw him making one first team appearance, a figure which progressively increased over the following seasons. In 2013, he made a crucial move to the Premiership, signing a deal with Motherwell in July 2019.
His stint at Motherwell was highlighted by solid performances, making 30 first team appearances and scoring a goal in the 2019-2020 season, followed by 21 appearances in league matches during the 2020-2021 season. Since then, he has continued to serve as a central figure in Kilmarnock's midfield, having made 26, 28 and again 26 appearances in the following seasons respectively, while impressively contributing to the team's goal count.
