Barry's professional roots can be traced back to the illustrious academy of Aston Villa, where he joined as a trainee in July 2020. The current season of 2024-2025, however, reveals that he has yet to make an appearance in any league matches at the senior level for the club.
In an apparent effort to further his development and gain some much-needed match experience, Barry spent several loan spells at various clubs across the English league system. In August 2021, he enjoyed a small stint at Ipswich Town in the Premier League before moving to League Two outfit Swindon Town in January 2022. He subsequently went on a similar venture to MK Dons, also in League Two, in July 2022 - where he managed to make a decent 22 appearances and scored a solitary goal over the course of the 2022-2023 season.
Unfazed by the lack of goals, Barry continued his journey through England's lower leagues by joining Salford City on loan in January 2023. He added to his growing tally of league appearances, featuring nine times and once again finding the back of the net once.
Upon returning to Aston Villa in June 2023, Barry found himself packing his bags yet again for a loan spell at League One side, Stockport County. The 2024-2025 season has seen Barry return to Aston Villa from his time at Stockport County. Currently, though, he hasn't featured in any of Aston Villa's league matches for this season.
So far, Barry's career has seen him navigate the contrasting landscapes of England's footballing divisions. However, the young forward's unwavering commitment and determination suggest that we'll be hearing more of his name in the years to come.
