Luis Palma, a forward hailing from Honduras, was born on 17 January 2000, making him 26 years of age. Primarily operating in the left winger position for Lech Poznan, Palma stands at 5ft 8in (1.75m) tall and weights in at a lean 11st 2lb (71kg). He carries the number 77 on his jersey and has also proudly represented his native Honduras on the international stage.
As of now, his market value is estimated at approximately Β£3m, as noted on the information portal, Transfermarkt.
In January 2022, Palma said goodbye to Vida, a team in the Honduras League, and moved to Aris FC in the Greek Super League under undisclosed terms. Over the course of his career at Aris FC, he had 41 first team appearances, delivering a commendable tally of 13 goals. After a stint of two seasons in Greece, he transferred to our beloved Celtic in August 2023, with the Glasgow squad shelling out close to Β£3.4m for his services.
His days at Celtic Park witnessed him donning the green and white for 36 league matches across two seasons. His tenure in Scotland was punctuated by seven goals in the '23-'24 season followed by a more subdues '24-'25 season with no goals in his eight appearances.
Palma, however, bid a temporary farewell to Celtic as February 2025 saw him transferred on loan to Olympiacos. After a short-lived stint there where he featured in another eight league matches, he returned to Celtic upon completion of his loan in June the same year.
But fate had different paths for our Honduran, leading him to bid a final adieu to Celtic in July 2025, as he got transferred, yet again on loan, but to a different destination: Lech Poznan. His current 2025 - 2026 season in Poland has seen him making significant contributions with four goals in 19 appearances.
Palma's journey with Lech Poznan has also seen him grace the footballing stage in the Europa League and Champions League Qualifiers 2025 - 2026, with a total of four starts. Further, he has made his mark in the Conference League scoring two goals across seven starts.
To surmise, Luis Palma has written memorable chapters of his football journey, serving Celtic faithfully for two seasons and while his future remains unpredictable, his performances both at home and in Europe will certainly be etched in the annals of Celtic and further afield.
