Łukasz Skorupski, born on 5 May 1991 (age 35), is a Polish goalkeeper whose career has settled most firmly at Bologna. His early senior grounding came in Poland with Górnik Zabrze, where 27 league appearances in 2011-12 gave him the sort of regular work young goalkeepers need rather more than grand promises.
Bologna has shaped the bulk of his senior career. Across eight seasons he has made 254 league appearances for the club, a level of continuity that says enough without requiring much decoration. He is not a passing presence there, nor a squad filler who happened to stay a while.
He remains relevant in 2025-26, too. Skorupski has made 19 Serie A appearances this season, along with one in the Coppa Italia and nine in the Europa League, taking him to 29 Bologna appearances across all competitions. He has also been involved with Poland, making six appearances in European World Cup qualifying.
His current market value is around £2m, according to Transfermarkt. For all the usual movement in a goalkeeper’s career, Skorupski’s story is now largely a Bologna one: a long-serving Polish international still getting regular first-team football in Serie A.
