Marcel Lotka, born on 25 May 2001 (age 25), is a Polish goalkeeper with Energie Cottbus. A commanding 6ft 3in (1.90m), he is valued at around £1m by Transfermarkt.
His first notable league exposure came at Hertha BSC in 2021-22, when he made 10 appearances. That was a useful start, but his career so far has been shaped far more clearly by Borussia Dortmund II, where he played 84 league matches across three seasons. For a goalkeeper still building a senior career, that was the spell that gave him regular football rather than just a place in the background.
Lotka is now with Energie Cottbus. In 2025-26 he has made two league appearances, both in the 2. Bundesliga, so his current role has been limited. His career remains a straightforward one: early minutes at Hertha, a substantial run with Borussia Dortmund II, and a new stage at Cottbus.
