Martin Erlić, born on 24 January 1998 (age 28), is a Croatian central defender with FC Midtjylland. At 6ft 4in (1.92m), he is an imposing centre-half, and his current market value is around £3.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
His strongest league season came with Spezia in 2020-21, when he scored three times in 27 appearances. That remains the clearest attacking return of his club career, useful enough for a defender without needing dressed up as something more dramatic.
By 2026-27, Erlić is with Midtjylland, where he has made 14 appearances in all competitions and scored four goals. All four have come in the Europa League, where he has featured eight times, alongside three Superliga appearances, two in Europa League qualifying and one in Conference League qualifying.
He has also been involved with Croatia this season, making one appearance in European World Cup qualifying and scoring once. His career to date is a straightforward one: a tall Croatian defender, established in senior football, with spells in Italy and Denmark and current international involvement.
