Michael Hunter, a Scotland-born midfielder, came into this world on the 18th April 2007 and, at the tender age of 18, is currently showcasing his skills for Dundee F.C. in the Scottish Premiership. He primarily operates as a central midfielder, a position he has made his own, and proudly wears the number 67 jersey on his back.
Hunter began his professional journey with Dundee in July 2023, entering the Premiership side as a trainee. With Dundee, he carved out his niche, learnt the intricacies of the fast-paced game and proved his mettle in Scotland's top-flight football.
In a bid to fetch him more playtime and experience, Dundee loaned Hunter out to Brechin City, a Scottish Highland League side, in October 2024. In the less-pressured environment of the Highland League, Hunter was furnished with the chance to expand his game, make errors without consequence and learn from them.
Upon the completion of his loan spell in June 2025, Hunter returned to Dundee. His stint at Brechin City had equipped him with the experience of first-team football and had significantly bolstered his skills, a development that no doubt served to augment his performance levels at Dundee.
