Miguel Chaiwa, born on 7 June 2004 in Zambia, is a proficient midfielder who mainly operates as a central defensive midfielder for the Scottish team, Hibernian. With a physique boasting 5ft 10in in height (1.79m) and 11st 6lb in weight (73kg), Chaiwa dons the number 14 jersey on the footy field. In addition to his club commitments, he has proudly donned colours for the Zambia national team.

In tracing his football career, it was in July 2022 when Chaiwa transferred from a second-tier Zambian club, Shamuel, to Young Boys Bern in the Swiss Super League for an undisclosed fee. During his three seasons with Young Boys Bern, he made 19 first-team appearances in total.

February 2024 witnessed Chaiwa embarking on a short loan journey with FC Schaffhausen, a club playing in the 1. Liga Promotion in Switzerland. Here, he was a constant figure on the field, making 14 first-team appearances in league matches.

Upon completing his loan stint at FC Schaffhausen, he returned to Young Boys Bern in June 2024 where he contributed in more league matches.
