Mikael Mandron, born on 11 October 1994 (age 31), is a French striker with St Mirren, where he wears the number 9 shirt. At 6ft 3in (1.91m), he gives them an imposing focal point rather than anything especially subtle, though his usefulness has never been only about standing beside centre-halves and hoping for the best.
His most productive league season came back in 2016โ17 with Eastleigh, when he scored 10 goals in 28 appearances. That remains the clearest single-season return in his league career, and it gives a fair measure of the player: capable of runs of goals, but more often valued for presence, work and structure in the final third.
Mandron remained a regular first-team figure for St Mirren in 2025โ26. He made 35 league appearances, scoring four times, and was more productive in the cups, with seven goals in eight League Cup matches and two in three Scottish Cup outings. He also featured twice in the Premiership play-offs, taking his St Mirren total for the season to 48 appearances and 13 goals in all competitions.
His career has been that of an established senior striker rather than a prolific headline act. For St Mirren, he has continued to be involved often, contributing enough goals across competitions to remain relevant in the side.
