Mohamed Elyounoussi, born on 4 August 1994 (age 32), was born in Al Hoceima in Morocco and represents Norway. A left winger, he built the early part of his senior career in Norway, with his 2014 season at Molde standing out: 13 goals in 30 league appearances, a return that pushed him beyond the promising category.
Southampton later took him to England, and Celtic brought him in from there in August 2019. His time in Glasgow gave him a useful stage: technical enough to play in tight areas, direct enough to damage domestic defences, though not the sort of wide player who needed a brass band following him about.
