Born in France on 12 July 1996, Moussa Dembele is a renowned forward, plying his trade primarily as a striker for Al-Ettifaq. He boasts an impressive build, standing 6ft (1.83m) tall and weighing 12st 6lb (79kg).
Dembele kicked off his professional career at Fulham in the English Premier League in July 2012. At Fulham, Dembele got his feet wet in the 2013 - 2014 season, making a modest two appearances. His contribution gradually increased, registering 11 first team appearances in the 2014 - 2015 season and skyrocketing in the following season to 43 appearances with a commendable tally of 15 goals.
July 2016 witnessed Dembele's transfer to Celtic in the Scottish Premiership. The switch came with a price tag around the ballpark of £500k. His tenure at Celtic was fruitful to say the least. In the 2016 - 2017 season, he pranced on the pitch on 29 occasions, netting 17 goals. His performance remained steady in the ensuing season, with 25 appearances and 9 goals. However, his opportunity to showcase his skills reduced drastically in the 2018 - 2019 season, as he only managed to step on the field once for Celtic.
Dembele exited Celtic for pasture new in August 2018, heading towards Lyon in French Ligue 1, after agreeing to a whopping £20m deal. His impact was immediate, with Dembele making 33 appearances and scoring 15 goals in his maiden season. In the 2019 - 2020 season, he popped up on the squad list on 27 occasions, adding 16 goals to his personal account. His output wavered a bit in the following seasons, scoring less frequently, despite still racking up substantial appearances.
The footballer's next journey took him to exotic Spain, where he wore the jersey of Atletico Madrid in LaLiga on loan in January 2021. However, his loan spell was relatively short and uneventful, as he managed only five first team appearances during his stint at Atletico.
On completion of his loan, Dembele returned to Lyon in June 2021. He managed to maintain a consistent run in his team's lineup, but his goal-scoring ability took a bit of a hit in comparison to his early days at the club.
Finally, in July 2023, Dembele journeyed to the Middle East to sign with Al-Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League. At Al-Ettifaq, he has managed to make his mark, relatively quickly, tallying 13 first team appearances and bagging five goals in the ongoing 2025 - 2026 season.
