Nicky Hogarth, born with the weight of expectation and the inevitability of the Scottish summer drizzle on 4 July 2001, is a plucky lad, tender in years but hardened in spirit, with his birth certificate boldly proclaiming him as a 24-year old. He hails from the untamed wilds of Scotland, is a goalkeeper for Falkirk and stands 1.82m (5ft 11in) tall. Rather conveniently, he fits the mould of a modern goalkeeper, given that he weighs a championship-worthy 73kg (11st 6lb), and sports the coveted number 1 jersey.
According to the irrefutable wealth of knowledge that is, Transfermarkt, Hogarth is worth a princely €150k, or if you prefer your financial figures in the Queen's English, approximately £128k.
Let's stroll down memory lane, shall we? A fresh-faced Hogarth was brought along by Rangers in the Premiership in Scotland as naught but a trainee, in that mildly atrocious July 2017. Perchance, the bloody winter of January 2020 saw Hogarth traded from Rangers to Stirling Albion in the League Two in Scotland, all for the privilege of a loan deal. As if he didn't have enough of loan deals, he found himself farmed out from Rangers yet again in December 2020, this time to Cowdenbeath in the Lowland League in Scotland.
The balmy summer of July 2021 found our hero moving from Rangers in the Premiership in Scotland to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League in England. Now, that's an upgrade, isn't it? By August 2022, our fellow was jetting back to Scotland, this time finding himself as a loanee at Falkirk in the Premiership. During his debut season (2022 - 2023), he made a grand total of 15 first team appearances in league matches. Perhaps the most conspicuous fact in the following season (2024 - 2025) was that Hogarth made 36 first team appearances in league matches. As for the current season (2025 - 2026), well, there's still plenty of time left for Hogarth to repose on the bench, having made a single first team appearance so far.
Funnily enough, in July 2023, Hogarth found himself making the journey from Nottingham Forest in the Premier League in England to Falkirk in the Premiership in Scotland again. So lo and behold, more seasons being totted up with more appearances. He made a staggering 15 appearances in the 2023 – 2024 season, followed by a punishing 36 in the 2024 - 2025 season. Must be that brisk Scottish air, eh? As far as the current season (2025 - 2026) goes, the lad's clocked a single appearance, but hey, there's still loads of football to be played and slightly-less exciting statistics to be recorded.
