Nicolas Kühn was born on 1 January 2000 (age 26) in Wunstorf, Germany, and developed into a right-sided attacker before arriving at Celtic from Rapid Vienna in January 2024 for around £3m.
His Celtic spell was short but productive. The 2024–25 league campaign was his best to date, with 13 goals in 32 appearances, and he gave the side a direct option from the right without needing the full circus that often follows wide players at Celtic Park.
Kühn left Celtic in July 2025, joining Como for around £17m. That was a sizeable return on a player signed 18 months earlier, and it moved him into Serie A with a clearer first-team role rather than a vague promise of development.
At Como, he wears the number 10 shirt and remains a regular presence in 2025–26, with 23 league appearances and one goal. His market value is around £10m, according to Transfermarkt.
Kühn’s career has moved quickly: Rapid Vienna to Celtic, a strong scoring season in Glasgow, then a transfer to Como where he is still involved week to week. For a former Celtic player, the interest now is less in potential and more in whether he turns regular football into consistent end product.
