Nicolas Kühn, born on the 1st of January 2000, is a forward best known for his exploits on the right wing. Despite his German birthplace, Kühn is currently employed by Italian team Como, at Serie A level. At a height of 1.76m or five feet and nine inches, and weighing in at ten stone and twelve pounds (69kg), Kühn's versatility is evident both in terms of his physical stature and on-pitch duties, where he dawns the number 19 jersey.
According to Transfermarkt, Kühn's current market value is in the ballpark of €17.00m, equivalent to roughly £14.5m.
Kühn's football journey is as dynamic as the player himself. The forward's career started in earnest in July 2015, when he linked up with RB Leipzig II. Kühn spent his earliest professional years in the Oberliga, a football league in his home nation Germany. A move to the Netherlands followed in January 2018, with Kühn transferring from RB Leipzig II to Jong Ajax in the Eerste Divisie - the cost, a reported £1.8 million.
During his inaugural full season at Jong Ajax, Kühn tallied a modest five appearances in the first team. However, his second and third seasons saw a marked increase, with 21 and 17 appearances coupled with goal returns of two and three respectively.
January 2020 signalled the start of Kühn's association with another German venture, as he joined Bayern München II. His stint in the Oberliga was once again beneficial, with 37 appearances and six goals racked up over the course of two seasons.
A brief loan period at Erzgebirge Aue followed in July 2021, with Kühn making an impressive 27 appearances and bagging three goals during his time on the 3. Liga stage. Post-loan, the German ace shifted his boots to Austrian soil, signing with Rapid Vienna in July 2022 for a reported fee of £450,000.
Although Rapid Vienna reaped the rewards of Kühn's prowess for a year and a half - including 36 appearances and five goals - his stint in Austria was cut short when Celtic, one of Scotland's top Premiership sides, swooped in with a £3 million offer in January 2024.
Hitting the verdant expanses of Celtic's pitch rejuvenated Kühn. His inaugural half-season saw him net two goals in just fourteen appearances, but it was during the full 2024 - 2025 season that he truly flexed his potent scoring muscle, racking up a stellar thirteen goals in 32 appearances.
It was, however, the lure of the Italian Serie A that eventually plucked Kühn from Celtic soil. In July 2025, Como tabled a mouthwatering £17 million bid, making Kühn's heroic Celtic chapter a memory of the past. Now in the current 2025 - 2026 season, Kühn has already made 20 appearances for Como, with one goal to his tally.
While his time at Celtic was brief compared to his overall career journey, the stark skill and prowess demonstrated by Kühn during his Scottish days still bear testament to the potential of his bright footballing future.
