Owen Beck, born on 9 August 2002 (age 23), is a Welsh left-back on Liverpool’s books. He has had to build his senior profile away from Anfield, which is hardly unusual for a young full-back at a club with little room for experiments.
His clearest run of first-team football came at Dundee in 2023-24, when he made 25 league appearances and scored twice. That season gave him a proper footing in senior football rather than the usual promise-and-patience routine attached to academy players.
Beck remains a developing professional rather than a finished article. His market value is around £1m, according to Transfermarkt, and his career so far is that of a Liverpool left-back who has shown most clearly what he can do during a productive loan spell in Scotland.
