Paweł Brożek, born on the 21st of April 1983 in Poland, is a retired striker who played as a forward. Standing at 5 feet 10 inches (1.8m) tall and with a weight of 11st 4lb (72kg), Brożek was a prominent figure on the football field.
Brożek began his football career as a trainee with Wisła Kraków in the I Liga in Poland, joining in February 1999. Over several seasons with Wisła Kraków, he made numerous appearances and scored a significant number of goals. His most successful season appears to have been 2007-2008, where he scored 23 goals in 27 appearances. He left the club in January 2011.
The beginning of 2011 saw Brożek transfer to Trabzonspor in the Turkish Süper Lig. Here, he made several appearances over two seasons, scoring a total of three goals. In January 2012, Brożek was loaned to Celtic in the Scottish Premiership. Unlike his time at Wisła Kraków, however, he only made three appearances for Celtic, and was unable to score any goals.
After his short stint in Scotland, Brożek transferred to Recreativo de Huelva in the Second Division B/1 in Spain in July 2012. Here, he made 18 appearances in one season and scored two goals. As brief as his time in Spain was, he soon returned to Poland in July 2013, once again joining Wisła Kraków. His second stint with the club continued on similarly to his first, with numerous appearances and goals scored across a number of seasons before his retirement in 2020.
