Plamen Galabov was born on 2 November 1995 in Bulgaria. Now aged 30 years, he is a defender who plays primarily as a central defender for Dundee FC, donning the number 25 jersey. Standing at an imposing 1.87m (6ft 1in) and weighing in at 79kg (12st 6lb), the Bulgarian has carved a place for himself in the heart of Dundee's defence.

Galabov kickstarted his professional career at Litex Lovech in the Second League in Bulgaria in July 2013. In his debut season (2013 - 2014), he earned one first team appearance in league matches. In the subsequent season, he made 17 appearances, scoring his first two goals. The 2015-2016 season saw him making ten first team appearances.
In July 2016, Galabov transferred to CSKA Sofia in the First League in Bulgaria. His time at Sofia brought more opportunities, with 38 league appearances spread across the 2019-2020, 2020-2021, and the 2021-2022 seasons, scoring once.
In 2017 and 2018, he had loan stints at Etar Veliko Tarnovo in the Second League. His performance at Tarnovo was sound, making 16 first team appearances in the 2018-2019 season.
After the loan spell, Galabov returned to CSKA Sofia, for the third time, where he continued to be a pillar in the defence through the 2019 - 2022 seasons.
In January 2022, Galabov transferred to Maccabi Netanya in the Premier League in Israel. Details of his fee remain undisclosed.
Gaining further experience, he went on to play for Beitar Jerusalem in February 2024, before transferring to Maccabi Petah Tikva in the Liga Leumit for an undisclosed fee in July 2024.
