Raphael Onyedika, born on 19 April 2001 (age 25), is a Nigerian defensive midfielder whose senior career has been shaped mainly at Club Brugge. His earlier development included a productive spell at FC Fredericia, where he scored three league goals in 28 appearances in 2020–2021 – still his best league return.
Club Brugge is where his career has properly taken hold. Wearing number 15, he has made 95 league appearances across four seasons, scoring two league goals, and has become a steady first-team option rather than a passing squad name.
In 2025–2026, Onyedika remains involved regularly, with 23 league appearances and one league goal, and 55 appearances with five goals across all competitions for Club Brugge. He has also continued with Nigeria, making four African World Cup qualifying appearances and scoring once.
His career so far is a straightforward one: early grounding elsewhere, useful development at Fredericia, then a sustained role at Club Brugge as a regular defensive midfield presence.
