Romeo Vermant, born on 24 January 2004 (age 22), is a Belgian striker whose senior career has been shaped chiefly at Club Brugge. He wears squad number 17 and is valued at around £2.5m by Transfermarkt.
His development has centred on Brugge, though early loan football gave him useful senior miles before he became a more regular part of the first-team picture. Across four league seasons with Club Brugge, he has made 50 league appearances and scored 10 league goals.
The 2025–2026 season has been his most productive league campaign so far, with seven goals in 25 Pro League appearances. He has also been involved through the play-offs and in Europe, taking his Club Brugge total for the season to 56 appearances and 18 goals in all competitions.
Vermant remains a regular first-team presence at Club Brugge rather than a fringe prospect waiting for a turn. His career is still developing, but its shape is already clear enough: a Belgian striker built through Brugge’s system, with loan experience behind him and a current role in a side expecting him to contribute now.
