Born on 29 August 2006, Ruari Ellis is a 19-year-old football talent, hailing from the ruggedly beautiful lands of Scotland. His position on the pitch is predominantly one of central defence, a role he plays with sprightly energy for Kilmarnock, a Premiership stalwart. By strict unit conversion, Ellis stands at a respectable height of 5ft 10in (1.8m) and boasts a healthy weight indicative of his formidability - tipping the scales at 11st 4lb (72kg). The number 32 jersey is often sported by the young Scotsman during his footballing endeavours.
Ellis' journey in professional football has been an engaging journey with a bit of a merry-go-round of clubs. In the warm summer month of July 2023, Ellis began his venture into the Premiership in Scotland, signing the dotted line for Kilmarnock. However, his stint with Kilmarnock was interrupted with a loan to Broxburn Athletic, a junior team in Scotland, in November 2024. The loan deal must have been an enriching experience for Ellis, playing for a club in the lower echelons of Scottish football, but this detour was not a permanent move.
In June 2025, Ellis returned to the Premiership, to his parent club Kilmarnock, on completion of his loan spell. The developmental journey of this young lad from the Premiership stalwart Kilmarnock, to Broxburn Athletic and then returning to the safety and familiarity of his parent club is certainly worth following for any football enthusiast.
