Rudi Molotnikov, born on 23 May 2006 (age 20), is a Scottish attacking midfielder whose senior career has been shaped mainly at Hibernian. He came through there into first-team football and has made 18 league appearances across four seasons, enough to make Hibs the obvious centre of his early story rather than just a line on it.
His development has also taken in time away from Easter Road, most notably with Arbroath. In 2026-27, after one league appearance for Hibernian, he made three league appearances for Arbroath and scored once, giving him the most productive league spell of his career so far in modest terms.
His form this season has been solid, although he has been out of the matchday squad in recent weeks. His last listed outing came in Hibernian’s 1-2 defeat to Motherwell on 2 August 2026.
Molotnikov remains a developing Scottish attacking midfielder with most of his senior grounding at Hibernian and a useful Arbroath spell adding minutes and a goal to his early career.
