Sacha Boey, born on 13 September 2000 (age 25), is a French right-back with Bayern Munich. His early career included a loan spell that gave him senior football before he found firmer footing at Galatasaray, where his game began to look less like potential and more like a first-team trade.
Galatasaray was the important staging post. In 2022–23 he made 31 league appearances and scored one goal, still his most productive league season in front of goal. For a full-back, that is not exactly avalanche territory, but his value there was in regular football and defensive reliability rather than numbers on a stat sheet.
Boey is now part of Bayern Munich’s first-team squad, wearing No 23. In 2025–26 he has made nine Bundesliga appearances, one in the DFL-Supercup and seven in the Champions League, scoring once in Europe. He has also made four Club World Cup appearances, again scoring once, and remains a regular first-team presence rather than a spare part.
His current market value is around £15.5m, according to Transfermarkt. Boey’s career so far has been shaped by a useful early loan, a strong spell in Turkey, and a place in a Bayern squad where he is still getting meaningful football.
