Sam Lammers, born on 30 April 1997 (age 29), is a Dutch striker with FC Twente, where he wears the number 10 shirt. At 6ft 3in (1.91m), he gives them a tall focal point in attack, though his game has never been only about size.
His sharpest scoring season came early, at Jong PSV in 2016-2017, when he scored 17 league goals in 31 appearances. That remains the most productive league campaign of his career, a useful reminder that his reputation was built first on goals rather than on later moves around the continent.
Lammers has also picked up one League Cup win during his senior career. By 2025-2026, he was still a regular first-team presence for Twente, making 25 Eredivisie appearances and scoring six league goals.
His career has settled into that of an established Dutch forward: productive at youth and reserve level, experienced across senior football, and still involved regularly at FC Twente rather than drifting to the margins.
