Sam Silvera, born on 25 October 2000 (age 25), is an Australian left winger whose senior career has taken him from home football into the English game with Middlesbrough.
His clearest attacking return came with Central Coast Mariners in 2022-23, when he scored six goals in 26 league appearances. That season remains the obvious marker in his career so far: regular football, a defined wide role, and enough end product to push him on.
At Middlesbrough, Silvera has been used primarily from the left. His career is still at the stage where the shape of it is being formed rather than settled, but he has already made the step from the A-League into a more demanding English environment.
