Siebe Horemans, born on 2 June 1998 (age 27), is a Belgian right-back now with FC Utrecht, where he wears the number 2 shirt. His market value is around £4m, according to Transfermarkt.
His early loan football gave him the sort of senior grounding young full-backs tend to need, but his career has been shaped far more clearly by Excelsior. Across six seasons there, Horemans made 176 league appearances and scored nine league goals, becoming a steady, durable presence rather than a passing squad piece.
The 2022–2023 season was his most productive in the league, with three goals in 34 appearances for Excelsior. That was not the story of a rampaging full-back suddenly reinvented as a winger, but it did show a player comfortable enough in the side to add a little more going forward.
At FC Utrecht, he has remained relevant rather than merely attached to the squad. In 2025–2026 he has made 27 league appearances, and 43 in all competitions, including Europa League qualifiers, Europa League matches, KNVB Beker ties and European Play-offs. His two goals have come in Europa League qualifying.
Horemans’ career is a fairly clear one: developed through early senior football, properly established over a long spell at Excelsior, and still a regular first-team option at Utrecht.
