Tobi Oluwayemi is an English footballer, born on 8 May 2003, making him 22 years of age. He currently resides between the sticks at Kilmarnock, sporting the number 20 jersey. With a towering height of 6ft 2in (1.89m) and a weight of 12st 12lb (82kg), he certainly stands as an imposing figure before the opposition.
Oluwayemi began his career in July 2019, when tragedy sprouted wings and he journeyed north to join Celtic, a club nestled in the upper echelons of Scottish football. This initiation into Celtic was not as an established player though, but rather as a trainee learning the ropes and nuances of professional football.
It was in January 2023, after some time at Celtic, that Oluwayemi experienced his first loan move. His destination was none other than Cork City, a club plying its trade in the rugged terrain of Ireland's Premier Division. In his debut season with Cork City, Oluwayemi showed glimpses of talent, managing two first team appearances in the league.
When August 2023 rolled around, Oluwayemi was on the move again, this time to Admira Wacker in Austria's 2. Liga, still under the protective wing of Celtic. It was here that he began to spread his wings, earning nine league appearances in the 2023 - 2024 season.
In August 2024, another loan beckoned, calling Oluwayemi back to familiar Scottish shores, albeit with Dunfermline Athletic in the Championship this time. Here, Oluwayemi began to find his place, making a significant 30 league appearances in the 2024 - 2025 season.
The end of that season prompted a return to Celtic in June 2025 after his loan spell at Dunfermline had run its course. However, his stay in the green and white half of Glasgow was short-lived, as in October 2025 Oluwayemi undertook yet another loan move; this time to his current abode, Kilmarnock. Oluwayemi has settled in quite well at his adopted home, making eight first team appearances in the ongoing 2025 - 2026 season.
Throughout his career so far, Oluwayemi's development as a goalkeeper has been noteworthy. Bestowing his talents upon multiple clubs across a selection of different leagues and countries, all while under the banner of Celtic, his trajectory promises an intriguing future for this young shot-stopper.
