Tobi Oluwayemi, born on the 8th of May, 2003, currently aged 22, hails from England and has taken up goalkeeping responsibilities for Leyton Orient. His physique is an asset for a goalkeeper, with a height of 6ft 2in (1.89m) and weighing 12st 12lb (82kg).
In the summer month of July 2019, Oluwayemi stepped on to Scottish soil as he joined the ranks of Celtic as a pursuing trainee.
He further expanded his career while still a Celtic player, when in January 2023, he was loaned to Cork City, contesting in the Republic of Ireland's First Division. Despite the short loan stint, he made an impression with two first team appearances in that debut season.
Several months later, in August 2023, a fresh opportunity presented itself in the form of Admira Wacker, a team competing in the 2. Liga in Austria. Oluwayemi wore the colours of Admira Wacker for the entirety of the 2023-2024 season while being loaned by Celtic, showcasing his skills a decent nine times in league matches.
The next destination in his nomadic journey was Dunfermline Athletic, a club situated closer to Celtic, in the Championship of Scotland, in August 2024. His time in Dunfermline differed from previous loans, as he was etched on the gaffers' first team plans making a notable 30 appearances in the season 2024-25.
After concluding his duties with Dunfermline Athletic in June 2025 and making a brief return to Celtic, he was loaned again in October 2025 to top tier Scottish club, Kilmarnock. Remarkably, Oluwayemi's growing experience in Scottish football caught attention, manifested through his 12 first team appearances in the ongoing 2025-2026 season.
Following his return from Kilmarnock to Celtic in January 2026, his long tenure of over six unforgettable years at Celtic came to a conclusion when he permanently moved to Leyton Orient in England's League One in February 2026. Although the details of the transfer fee remain undisclosed, Oluwayemi's journey with Leyton Orient has just begun with a full season to look forward to.
