Torbjørn Heggem, born on 12 January 1999 (age 27), is a Norwegian central defender with Bologna. His current market value is around £12m, according to Transfermarkt.
By 2020 he was a regular at Ranheim, making 30 league appearances and scoring once. That remains his most productive league season in front of goal, which tells its own fairly plain story about the kind of defender he is.
Heggem has been a steady presence for Bologna in 2025-26. He has made 38 appearances across all competitions, including 27 in Serie A, one in the Coppa Italia, two in the Supercoppa and eight in the Europa League, without scoring.
He has also remained involved with Norway, making eight appearances in European World Cup qualifying this season. His career to this point is a straightforward one: regular football in Norway, a move into Serie A, and a current role as an established part of Bologna’s first-team squad.
