Tosin Adarabioyo, born on 24 September 1997 (age 28), is an English central defender with Chelsea. At 6ft 5in (1.96m), he is a commanding presence, though his career has been shaped as much by steady senior football as by the obvious physical profile.
He came through at Manchester City, where the jump from academy prospect to regular first-team player was never likely to be simple. Loan football gave him the necessary work. His spell at Blackburn Rovers in 2019-2020 was particularly useful: 34 league appearances and three goals, his most productive league season.
Adarabioyo later moved on to Fulham before joining Chelsea, where he remains part of the first-team picture. In 2025-2026, he has made 16 Premier League appearances, five in the FA Cup with two goals, and five in the Champions League. His Chelsea total for the season stands at 26 appearances and two goals.
His current market value is around £13.5m, according to Transfermarkt. He was linked with a move to Celtic in August 2026 while at Chelsea.
Adarabioyo’s career has moved from Manchester City development, through important loan spells, to regular Premier League involvement with Fulham and Chelsea. He remains an established first-team defender at a high level.
