Toyosi Olusanya was born on the 1st of February, 1998 in England. Primarily a forward, he currently plays as a striker for Aberdeen and sports the number 20 jersey. His measurements are a height of 5ft 11in (1.81m) and a weight of 10st 9lb (68kg).
Olusanya's career began in earnest in July 2015 when he joined AFC Wimbledon in the League One. His inaugural 2015-2016 season saw him make a solitary first team appearance, in which he also netted his debut goal. The next phase of his career took him on loan to Kingstonian in the lower leagues of England in November 2016.
After this loan spell, Olusanya moved from Kingstonian to Gosport Borough in March 2018, then onto Bishop's Stortford in July 2018, and another switch in July 2019 saw him join Cheshunt. July 2020 saw another move, this time to Billericay Town in the Southern Football League.
The start of 2021 marked an upturn in his career, with a transfer to Middlesbrough in the Championship. Here, he made three first team appearances in the 2021-2022 season.
In July 2022, he moved north to join St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership. Here he displayed a degree of stability, making a total of 67 first team appearances, and scoring 14 goals across three seasons. However, a January 2023 loan to Arbroath saw him gain further experience in the Championship, scoring once in nine appearances.
Returning from Arbroath to St Mirren, Olusanya continued his development and solidified his place in the team for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 seasons. Between these two seasons, he took to the pitch 66 times and netted an impressive 14 goals.
April 2025 saw a substantial move across the Atlantic Ocean to join Houston Dynamo in the MLS. He ended up making 6 appearances in the US before he was loaned back to Old Blighty to join Doncaster Rovers in August 2025.
January 2026 marked a further unique chapter in his career, with a loan move taking him to Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership. In this current season, he has found himself turning out in the Aberdeen jersey seven times so far. Additionally, he has had the opportunity to contribute in the Scottish Cup for Aberdeen, with a single appearance as a substitute.
