Olusanya's professional football journey began in the July of 2015, when he joined League One side AFC Wimbledon and made a single first team appearance, scoring a goal, in his inaugural season.
Following this, there was a series of moves within the English Lower Leagues. First was a loan to Kingstonian in November 2016. After the loan spell, he moved to Gosport Borough in March 2018 and then went on to Bishop's Stortford later in July. The following year, Olusanya wrapped up his contract with Bishop's Stortford and signed with Cheshunt.
In July 2020, Olusanya took another step within the English leagues, this time joining Billericay Town in the Southern Football League. However, this stint lasted only for a year as he ascended to Championship side Middlesbrough in August 2021, where he clocked in three league appearances.
In July 2022, Olusanya further expanded his horizons, crossing borders into Scotland and joining St Mirren in the Premiership. Over his three-season spell at St Mirren, he accumulated 35 initial appearances and netted six goals, followed up by another 31 appearances and eight goals in the following term. However, midway through his time at St Mirren, Olusanya was loaned out to Championship side Arbroath in January 2023, where he had nine outings and netted a single goal. He returned to St Mirren on completion of his loan in June 2023.
Come April 2025, Olusanya was on the move again, this time transferring all the way to the USA's Houston Dynamo for an undisclosed fee. Despite making six league appearances, he soon returned to England and joined Doncaster Rovers in the League One in England on loan in August 2025.
As of January 2026, Olusanya is back in Scotland, this time on loan at Aberdeen from Houston Dynamo. In the current season, he has already chalked up two first-team league appearances.
He continues to contribute to the game with the same skill and drive that initiated his career, embodying the spirit of football and epitomising the passion of the sport.
