Valery Gromyko, born on 23 January 1997 (age 29), is a Belarusian attacking midfielder with Kairat. His career has not been a straight line of headline seasons, but he has stayed in senior football and remained useful enough to keep getting picked.
His most productive league spell came in 2019 with Shakhtyor Soligorsk, where he scored four goals in 10 appearances. That remains the clearest snapshot of his attacking output: modest in volume, but with enough end product to matter.
At Kairat in 2026, Gromyko has not featured in the league, but he has still been involved regularly. He has made eight Champions League qualifying appearances, scoring once, and eight more in the Champions League proper, giving him 16 appearances and one goal across all competitions for the club.
He has also stayed in the Belarus picture, making five European World Cup qualifying appearances this season and scoring once. His current role is plain enough: not a domestic regular at this stage, but still active for club and country in meaningful fixtures.
