Wesley, born on 6 September 2003 (age 22), is a Brazilian right-back now with Roma, though his senior career is still shaped mainly by Flamengo. He made 78 league appearances there across four seasons, scoring twice, and that remains the main body of his work.
Flamengo gave him the first-team volume that matters for a young defender. It was not a token development spell or a brief staging post, but the club where he became a regular professional before moving on to Italy.
