The Nigerian born football player, Wilfred Ndidi, was born on the 16th of December 1996 and is currently 28 years of age. Standing at 1.83m (6ft), and weighing 74kg (11st 9lb), Ndidi is a formidable presence in the midfield. Although primarily serving as a central defensive midfielder for Besiktas, Ndidi has also proudly represented the Nigerian national team.
In January 2015, Ndidi took his first steps into the professional football world, transferring from Nathaniel Boys, a club in the National League in Nigeria, to Genk in the Pro League in Belgium. This move cost Genk a modest fee of around £150k. During the 2014 - 2015 season, Ndidi made a single first-team appearance in league matches for Genk. However, in the subsequent 2015 - 2016 season, Ndidi took the stage 26 times, even scoring a goal. His performance continued strong into the 2016 - 2017 season, with 19 first-team appearances.

He also participated in World Cup Qualifiers Africa 2024 - 2026 for Nigeria with four starts, and in Conference League Qualifiers 2025 - 2026 for Besiktas with two starts.
