Amar Ahmed Fatah, born on 19 February 2004, is a Swedish forward currently playing for Dundee United. Standing at 6ft (1.83m) and weighing 11st 6lb (73kg), Fatah primarily utilises his skills on the pitch as a left winger and sports the number 17 jersey.
Fatah's current market value is approximately Β£400k, as reported by Transfermarkt.
Fatah's professional career commenced in earnest at Swedish club AIK in the Allsvenskan in January 2021. He got his first taste of the first team football in the 2021 season, followed by nine appearances and one goal in the subsequent campaign.
In August of 2022, Fatah made a significant move, transferring from AIK to Troyes, a French Ligue 2 side, for a fee around Β£3.5m. However, his stint in France only resulted in one league appearance for the 2022-2023 season.
Seeking more first-team experience, Fatah subsequently went on loan to Belgian side Lommel in the Challenger Pro League in January 2023. His return to Troyes in July 2024 saw Fatah once again limited to a single league outing.
Continuing his journeyman career, Fatah was loaned out once more in August 2024, this time to Willem II in the Netherlands' Eerste Divisie. The 2024-2025 season saw Fatah make a substantial contribution to Williem II with 22 appearances and a single goal. Following his return to Troyes in June 2025, the forward found himself once again restricted to a sole league appearance.
What seemed to be a recurring pattern, Fatah was loaned out yet again in July 2025, this time to Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership. The move has so far proven to be successful for Fatah as he has made 21 senior appearances and slotted four goals during the 2025-2026 season. He has also participated in the League Cup with one start, and the Conference League qualifiers with one substitute appearance.
