Born on the 14th of May, 2005 in Finland, Dario Naamo is a 20-year-old defender, plying his trade with Dundee United as a right back. Standing at 5ft 8in (1.75m) tall and weighing 11st 9lb (74kg), he dons the number 22 jersey for his side. Naamo's football career also includes representing Finland at the U21 level.

Not one to shy away from new experiences, Naamo transferred on loan to St. Polten in the Austrian 2. Liga in September 2024. Here, he not only gained valuable experience but also notched up his first professional goal while making 18 appearances during the 2024 - 2025 season.
Impressed by his displays, St. Polten made his move permanent in January 2025 for a transfer fee of approximately £170k. In total, he made 18 appearances and scored one goal for the Austrian side in the 2024 - 2025 season.
In July of the same year, Naamo found himself on the move once again, this time on loan to Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership. He made 13 first team appearances in the 2025 - 2026 season.
In a whirlwind of a year, Naamo made his move to Dundee United a permanent one in August 2025, for a fee that remains undisclosed. Presently, in the 2025–2026 season, he has made 13 first team appearances and looks set to cement his place in the team.
Naamo's career so far has also seen him gain experience on the Cup and international stage. He has represented Dundee United in the League Cup 2025 - 2026 with one appearance off the bench, and also had one substitute appearance for Finland U21 in the UEFA U21 Qualifiers 2025.
