Dylan Levitt, born on 17 November 2000 in Wales, currently finds his footballing home with Hibernian. At the age of 24, Levitt resides in the midfield, taking up the role of a central defensive midfielder. Standing at 5ft 11in (1.81m) and weighing 11st 6lb (73kg), he wears the number 6 jersey on his back in honour of his position.
Levitt's journey to Hibernian was riddled with twists and turns. Cutting his teeth at Manchester United as a trainee, the Welshman signed up with the Premier League side in July 2017. His development was followed by a series of loan moves in September 2020, with a shift to League One side Charlton Athletic.
Levitt's career then took him abroad as he transferred from the security of Manchester United to Istra 1961 in the HNL in Croatia in February 2021. However, it wasn't long before Levitt was back on British soil, trading the sun of Croatia for the chill of Dundee United in the Premiership in Scotland, in August 2021.
It was with Dundee United that Levitt started finding his groove. Seeing action in 25 first team games in the 2021 - 2022 season and an impressive 27 appearances in 2022 - 2023, he marked his name on the scoresheet five times in each season. His performances saw him transfer permanently from Manchester United to Dundee United in July 2022 for an undisclosed fee.
However, Levitt's time with Dundee United was destined to be short. In July 2023, Levitt switched allegiances to Hibernian for around £300k. Adapting quickly to his new surroundings, Levitt clocked 28 first team appearances, scoring twice in his debut season (2023 - 2024). Currently in 2024 - 2025 season, Levitt has made five appearances in the league for Hibernian.
Besides his league endeavours, Levitt has also participated in Scottish cup competitions. In the League Cup 2024 - 2025, Levitt featured in four matches (one start, three appearances as a substitute) for Hibernian, even managing to score a goal. Furthermore, in the Scottish Cup 2023 - 2024, Levitt featured as a substitute on three occasions.
