Santiago Giménez, born 18 April 2001 (age 25), is a Mexico international striker now with Porto. His European career is most clearly marked by his spell at Feyenoord, where the 2023-24 league season brought 23 goals in 30 appearances. That remains his most productive league campaign, and a useful reminder that his game has already had more than a brief purple patch.
At Porto in 2026-27, Giménez has made two Liga Portugal appearances and scored once, with one further Champions League appearance taking him to three games and one goal across all competitions for the club. It is a small sample, rather than a full portrait, but it places him in the side early in the season.
He has also been involved with Mexico this season, making four World Cup appearances and six in the Gold Cup. His career so far runs through Feyenoord productivity, a move into Porto’s forward line, and a steady role with the national team.
