Transfer in serious doubt

Not long after I posted yesterday’s blog, “Transfer imminent”, David Turnbull’s agents rejected Celtic’s contract offer.

Transfer imminent.

The transfer window opened on Tuesday 11th June, but we’ve been hearing plenty of rumours long before the season ended.

Lennon all along…

For weeks and months I was 100% certain that Neil Lennon would be installed as Celtic’s next permanent manager.

Whatever happens today, we live in treasured times

On this day, ten years ago, Gordon Strachan officially resigned from his post as Celtic manager.

Farewell Stevie Chalmers

I was in the process of preparing my blog this morning, prior to posting about the weekend, when the news of Stevie Chalmers’ passing flashed up on my phone.

Hail, Cesar!

This mornings news that Billy McNeill had passed away has saddened many people across the footballing world...

Easter Road Sunday

Craig Levein’s Hearts side capitulated at home to their Glasgow brethren yesterday in what was a one sided affair.

The SFA’s incompetence is as questionable as McLeish’s appointment.

The SFA’s decision to sack Alex McLeish after 14 months in charge, means the search for new leadership is under way.

That’s a few rumours put to bed then…

Yesterday, Marco Rose was finally announced as the man to take over at Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer, ending any rumours that he could join Celtic.

These second half performances are killing me, but how much of it is actually down to Neil Lennon?

I’ll be the first to admit that in order for Celtic to maintain progress, Neil Lennon would not be my primary candidate for the permanent vacancy...

The mother of all Sundays

On Sunday, Neil Lennon will be back in the dugout for his first Celtic v Rangers match in almost seven years.

Football Forecast

Brexit is a hot topic right now. People are also sick to the back teeth of the ongoing circus.

Time for a breather

After four games in charge at Celtic, Neil Lennon will be glad of the international break.

Time to make it ten

Rangers and Aberdeen were each held to second successive draws in the Scottish Premiership yesterday by their respective opponents.

The next four matches…

With four games left before the Scottish Premiership divides, a portion of teams will be fighting it out for places in the top six and for survival in the top flight lower down the league...

As the winter break descended upon the Scottish Premiership, we were surrounded by positive headlines about our friends over at Ibrox.

Celtic Surgery – Burke the first of many?

A negative night, but the table doesn’t lie

The starting line-up was predictable, but the performance was ineffective.

It’s all in your hands, Celtic.

If you’d told me a couple of months ago that we were going to go into Matchday 6 of the Europa League with qualification in our own hands I wouldn’t have believed you.
