Livingston F.C. made a modest entrance onto the Scottish football scene in 1943. With a humble beginning, they have since put roots down at their home ground fondly known as 'The Home of the Set Fare Arena'. Situated snugly in the beautiful landscape of Scotland, it offers a bucolic setting for the beautiful game.
The team, at present, is comprised of 28 players of various talents. With an average age of 28, they strike an interesting balance between experience and youth, providing a certain dynamism to the team’s functionality on the field.
In the current season, Livingston have spread their bets across three competitions. The Premiership has seen them land at the 12th spot, not a formidable standing, but one from which they could find their footing. Their endeavour in the League Cup could not hold past the Second Round, a mild sting in their campaign. The Scottish Cup saw them rally up to the Fourth Round, offering them some scope of progress and improvement for the future, notwithstanding.
